Sydney Problem Gambling Centre

Sydney Problem Gambling Centre logoIf you suspect or know that your gambling is getting out of control, or you are worried about a friend or family member, why not contact us at the Sydney Problem Gambling Centre?

Many people begin gambling on a small scale.  It may be a small bet on a horserace or a turn on the pokies after a dinner out. It may even start through curiosity about online Internet gambling. For hundreds of thousands of Australians, however, this marks the beginning of a cycle into a destructive gambling addiction.

Billions of dollars is gambled each year in Australia, with our country having an estimated 300,000 problem gamblers. If you suspect that you or someone you know has a gambling problem, there is help available!

How do I know if I need help?
There are a number of indicators that gambling has become an addiction. If you begin gambling alone regularly, think excessively about gambling, are spending excessively on gambling, are lying about your gambling, or are spending less time with your family in order to gamble, then chances are that you have a gambling problem.
