At Kingdom Come I spoke to a girl who was around my age and I told her how difficult it is in my area (Mt Druitt) to share the message of Jesus.
She just looked at me and said, "So, what are you going to do to help it to become a better place?"
Then I said, "What can one person do?"
She replied, "One person can't change the world but he can change an area over time so what are you going to do?"
After Kingdom Come when I was at home in bed one night, I prayed to God and asked him, "What can I do to help?"
An idea then popped into my head about starting up my own Bible study group in my area.
At the start it was so hard because I didn't know where to begin and I started to have doubts and it. So I prayed to God and said, "God is this what you really want me to do? I just need to know that you've got me back."
Then my phone went off and it was on top of my Bible so I flicked in open and it landed on the passage of Mark 11:22 which says, "Jesus said have faith in the Father."
So, I hung in there with my Bible study of two kids for three more weeks. Then we grew into eight and now we just hang out and get into the Bible. Just seeing them enjoy what they are doing is priceless and getting to learn things off them is really cool and knowing I'm there to see all this is incredible.
