Red Shield Appeal TV ads

22nd April 2009

Daniel's Story

Tina's Story

Brian's Story

These three tv ads have been released as part of the 2009 Red Shield Appeal. The three clips look at how three very different people came through the doors of The Salvation Army. Each story is powerful and moving, so make sure you check them out!

As you watch these clips, remember the Red Shield Appeal Doorknock is about more than money - it's about serving and supporting Australians who have nowhere else to turn. By helping out as a donor or a collector, you become a partner with all the great officers, employees and volunteers who every day work alongside hurting people.

So for Red Shield Sunday on May 24, make sure you've rounded up a whole bunch of friends as a show of support to the poor, the lonely, the abused and the broken within our society. Your doorknocking opens doors of freedom to people who need it the most.

    GOD BLESS!

  2. Oh wow. These are really powerful. I love how it explains what the word "salvation" means to people. Everyone has heard of The Salvation Army, but how many who say that we're good people actually understand what we're fighting for?
