Jesus and Christianity

A relationship with Jesus Christ is the foundation, inspiration and driving force of The Salvation Army.

Our DNA is summed up in our ministry philosophy 'heart to God, hand to others'. Our relationship with God comes first and the rest follows.

Without the transforming work of Jesus, The Salvation Army wouldn't exist.

Freedom for body, mind and spirit

During His time on earth, Jesus showed utmost concern for the physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing of all people. We believe wholeheartedly that He cares about yours and that a radical transformation can happen in a person's heart when they meet Jesus for the first time.

We are a Christian organisation whose message advocates the Bible's teaching. The foundation of faith in Jesus is embedded in everything we do and our confidence is in knowing a loving and caring God.

If you'd like to discover more about Jesus and the abundant life that relationship with Him brings, visit your local Salvo church or get in touch with us using the form below.
