Our Vision and Mission

Walking with people for a stronger community.

We aim to provide support for people to reach their goals for short-term and long-term outcomes

  • Mentoring, counselling, referrals, coaching
  • Provide a safe space, self-determination
  • Provide education
  • Life skills
  • Vocational training and workplace skills
  • Work experience
  • Development workshops for personal and interpersonal skills, leadership skills

We act with integrity and respect believing these are the foundation for authentic relationships

  • People have in-built potential. We seek to use this towards their goals
  • We listen actively and are present in conversations
  • We role-model, showing who we are called to be and walking the talk
  • Our expectations are known from the start
  • We accept all people, appreciating their uniqueness. We respect them as created equal and in the image and likeness of God

We seek partnerships, believing a collective effort builds a stronger community

  • We are transparent in what we do and seek others who will share our vision for a stronger community. We partner to make more than one can by themselves
  • We are faith-based and hold that ground, developing partnerships with others knowing who we are, but without this being a perceived stumbling block
  • We can’t be all things and others have strengths where we don’t. Recognising, acknowledging this and joining together builds a stronger community
  • We engage and cultivate great ideas for stronger outcomes

We are God’s hands and feet in our community, as we are part of the community; we know our heartbeat and hopes. We are bold. We are innovative, changing and evolving for tomorrow

  • While many people come to us, we also reach to those who don’t
  • We are not bound to our building, we meet our community where they are
  • We know the way we do things today is relevant for today but may not be relevant tomorrow. We look ahead and adapt through being innovative in thinking and application
  • If it’s the ‘right’ next step, we welcome the toughness of the challenge in pursuit for a stronger community
