Campbell Edwards Trust has supported Oasis since 2011 through the provision of a financial grant to provide fresh and nutritious food for our Crisis Accommodation Centre. The grant has provided Oasis with the opportunity for our youth workers to develop and implement a living skills program, educating young people about nutrition and healthy food options.
About Campbell Edwards Trust
The Campbell Edwards Trust is a perpetual charitable trust that was established in 1922 in Victoria, Australia, by the late Robert Campbell Edwards.
The Trust is dedicated to assisting those in need through financial assistance to charitable organisations such as Oasis whose programs give effect to the Trust’s underlying philosophy, values and vision.
The Trust’s current focus is on programs and projects designed to assist the following categories:
- Young people in need of education and other assistance
- Families undergoing conflict
- Those in need of basic human necessities such as food, shelter or clothing
- Indigenous Australians suffering disadvantage
- Support and research services for community challenges
