About their Support

Street TV is part of Oasis’ Street Media program and has been run in collaboration with Foxtel since 2002. The program is part of Foxtel’s commitment to the community and represents a longstanding partnership between Foxtel and Oasis that aims to provide a supportive environment for young people to work alongside Foxtel employees to learn the art of film making.

From writing, sound editing, video and scripting to location planning, direction and post-production, Foxtel staff guide and mentor the young people through every aspect of the design and development process over a three month period. The program is run once a year and at the end, three-short films are premiered at a gala event for the young people who have been part of the program.

Foxtel have also been involved in volunteering outside of the Street TV program.
