Drug and Alcohol Support (DAYS)

The Drug and Alcohol Youth Support team offer counselling, case management and targeted group programs to young people aged 12-24 who are experiencing problematic Alcohol and other Drug use in the South Eastern Sydney Health District. Using an evidence based, trauma informed, early intervention approach, we will support you to address your needs.

Case Management

Our case management can provide:

  • Education and advice
  • Information and referrals
  • Access to much-needed resources
  • Harm reduction strategies to support you on your journey to recovery

We understand that Alcohol and other Drugs may not be the only barrier you are facing. Our case managers can support you with a range of other needs to help you achieve your goals. This could be related to your housing, employment, mental health or relationships.

Counselling and Programs

We don’t stop at case management. We also offer one-on-one youth counselling to help you address your Alcohol and other Drug use, as well as your mental health. A holistic approach to your individual circumstances will really help improve your outcomes and recovery. Our youth counsellor and group facilitator will be able to offer targeted early intervention and prevention programs. This could be in groups, one-to-one, at your school, or in the community.

Our service is underpinned by a harm reduction philosophy and trauma informed care.
