The Vision

“It is not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit” says The Lord of Heaven’s Armies.” Zechariah 4:6

It is by the supernatural enabling of God alone that the work

of the Lord can be accomplished in Newcastle and in our lives.

So, Northlakes, God is calling us to go forward in 2014, seeing the impossible

become reality. He is calling us, by His Spirit, to lay down our own human agendas and

efforts, to put aside the desire to do what we think is best, in our way, and trust

that God’s ways are higher than ours.

By His Spirit, God will do far more than we can ask or even imagine! He has made so many promises to us

and now He is calling us to take Him at His Word and to watch Him work in a way that only He can!

By His Spirit, God is calling each of us to live beyond ourselves in 2014. This means

that in every area of our lives, we should seek God to open doors that otherwise

would remain shut, to create opportunities where there were none, to give us

confidence when we feel afraid, to help us do things that

we thought we could never do.

By His Spirit, God is calling us, as a church family, to live beyond ourselves.

This means that in every ministry of the church, we will trust God to

work supernaturally, to set people free, to heal, to restore, to renew, to protect.

So God is saying to us; “Northlakes, hands off the controls, and hang

on for the ride of your life. You have not seen anything yet!”
