Forest Lake Community Church

The Salvation Army Forest Lake Community Church began in 1998 when Liam Glover, along with his wife Rachel, felt the call of God to plant a church in the rapidly-growing, master-planned community of Forest Lake.

From originally meeting in the chapel of Forest Lake College on Sunday afternoons, to a small performance hall at Forest Lake State High School, Lake Community Church now meets in its own facility, opened in 2005. The centre includes a function room, 2 smaller meeting rooms, and a cafe.

As of 2017, our lead pastors are Vanessa and Anthony Hunt, the first Salvation Army Officers appointed to lead Forest Lake Community Church. Vanessa & Anthony look forward to seeing what God will do in, through and for The Salvation Army in Forest Lake and its surrounds.
