Kokoda Trek September 2019

People crossing a bridge over running water on the Kokoda Track

Retrace part of Australia's history.

Trek the historical Kokoda Track through the Central Highlands of Papua New Guinea and learn more about WWII history and how the Salvos played a part in 1942 on the track. On Brigade Hill we will pause on the track for a deeply moving remembrance service. At the completion of the trek we will spend time in reflection at Bomana War Cemetery in Port Moresby. This physically and emotionally demanding trek will change your life and your fundraising efforts will help change the lives of others.

In Port Moresby we will visit some of the work The Salvation Army is undertaking to help the local people.

Applications for the 2019 Kokoda Trek will open in August 2018. For more information, complete the expression of interest below.
