What are FRONTLINERS?
FRONTLINERS are a youth movement that aims to "build a generation of leaders who live for others, love community and fight for justice". A twelve-month leadership and volunteering opportunity for young leaders to develop their own skills while being an ambassador for The Salvation Army.
Who is it for?
FRONTLINERS are young leaders (high school & university students) who apply to be ambassadors for The Salvation Army.
What's involved?
- A 3 day boot camp where FRONTLINERS will experience different facets of The Salvation Army, develop leadership skills and thinking, and begin the journey with their assigned mentor
- Monthly meetings with your designated mentor for leadership development and coaching
- Hands on involvement in community needs analysis and developing and implementing projects to meet local community need
