6 Month restructure review
A rigorous review of the HQ restructure took place six months after its commencement on 7 January 2016. The purpose was to identify what has worked well since the restructure and where there are opportunities for improvement.
The results from the review show that the restructure is making a positive difference.
The results also show that many people found the restructure initially confusing or frustrating, but over the course of the first 6 months these frustrations subsided as we adapted to a new way of working.
And yes, the results show that some things are not working as they were intended to, and that we need to work hard to correct issues so that we realise the full benefits for our frontline mission.
As of October 2016, the executive team is working with each of the relevant areas to implement the recommendations and will keep you informed of their progress.
