Membership

To be a member of a church, theoretically speaking you merely need to become a member of the body of christ. This means that you just need to show up, get involved, and consider yourself a christian. For many this raises some interesting questions... Am I a christian?, how do I become a christian if I am not? What does it mean if I am a christian? How do I "be" a christian? We would love to take anyone through a journey of discovery Beginning with a short course on what Christianity Means, then a course on what christianity involves and we offer a course on Salvation Army leadership (soldiership). Someone can become a member of the church simply after having completed the christianity explained course and making the decision to begin thier christian spiritual journey. For those in leadership and pastoral roles within the church, further training in theology, history, and Salvation Army policy, procedure and practices is necessary and useful.
