Overdose Prevention Case Management Service

SalvoCare Northern Victoria Overdose Prevention Case Management Service is funded by the Victorian State Government, for men and women at risk of overdose. The service expands support before, during, and after engagement with specialist AOD treatment.

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must not already be receiving Care and Recovery Coordination or other case management/coordination support. Forensic clients are not eligible, but people leaving prison and voluntarily entering treatment are eligible for the program.

Program model

The program offers a person-centred, risk-based approach, proactively identifying, reducing and managing each clients' risk of overdose.

Reviews and assessment may take place on entering or leaving a residential withdrawal centre, rehabilitation or prison, or other timeframe.
