There are many ways you can get involved with The Salvation Army Bellarine Peninsula.
We love people to support us either financially or with other produce or goods, such as the Rolling Pin Bakery in Ocean Grove who donate pies and pasties for our Family Gatherings in St Leonards. We also appreciate any donations of clothing, furniture, bric-a-brac and electrical goods at our Op Shop in Ocean Grove - call them on (03) 5255 3940 for free pick up or delivery.
You can become a regular financial contributor to the work of The Army here on the Bellarine so we can continue to see broken lives healed and transformed.
We are always looking for people to volunteer their time and expertise. We have a range of jobs needing to be done and having passionate and caring people willing to lend a hand partnering with us in our mission helps ease the load. We need gardeners, mechanics, smash repairers, people to visit sick and aged, plumbers, painters, electricians, and any skill you have we would be happy to put to use to voluntarily serve our community.
Being The "Salvation" Army we have a range of ways you can connect with God and The Salvation Army. For kids under 14 we have Junior Soldiers, which is a way for kids to learn faith, life skills, connect with God and serve the community.
There is also opportunity for people to become a member of The Salvation Army as an Adherent. This is simply a recognition of faith and commitment to serve in The Salvation Army in whatever way you fell called to.
Senior Soldiership is a member of The Salvation Army who has made a unique covenant with God to live a life of high moral standing, and committed to serving God as a uniformed soldier in The Salvation Army.
