Our Corps Leaders

Adrian and Natalie Kistan

Adrian and Natalie Kistan are Corps Leaders of Auburn Salvation Army. They are Salvationists that have been involved in leading ministry across the Salvos in various settings, for many years. A large portion of their ministry has been involved in cross cultural settings with a focus on leadership development and serving the needs of the community.

They, along with their 3 boys, unashamedly love Jesus, unconditionally love of all people and are passionate about unlocking the God given potential in everyone. As a family they love to travel, enjoy good food and embrace the people of the nations.

In response to what Jesus has done for them, Adrian and Natalie are a called to “go and make disciples of all nations” Matthew 28:19

Major Robyn Black

Robyn is a Corps Leader at Auburn Salvos and an Area Officer. She grew up in Yagoona, the youngest of four kids. She became a social worker and her first job was at The Salvation Army Outreach Service in Kings Cross. This was her first contact with the Salvos. Robyn went along to a Salvo Church and was fascinated by the hats and the timbrels (true!).

But the real reason she joined The Salvation Army was a desire to be part of group of people who gave up everything to see people come to know Jesus. Robyn has lived to see the faithfulness of God through good and bad times. She’s married to Bob and has 2 lovely stepchildren and 2 delightful grandchildren. She’s been an Officer for 18 years and likes to keep life simple. It’s all about love … Jesus … and people!
