John's Story - Canberra Recovery Services Centre

Major Scott Warrington is the manager of the Canberra Recovery Services Centre, seeing up to 300 clients a year take part in the program. John was a client of the program, graduating in July 2013.

John had been drinking for 30 years, but feels his drinking because problematic for the last 10 years of that time. John says he has been able to find freedom from his addiction through The Salvation Army. Paul Walsh, from ActewAGL, encourages everyone, from individuals to businesses, to support the Red Shield Appeal in whatever way they can because they make a difference in the community through the different programs they provide.
