The Salvation Army Tweed Centre is the Tweed's only 'A' grade sporting indoor venue.  It's facilities are modern, clean and provide for a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere.

Playing on a international standard sprung indoor sporting floor, the Centre runs a number of sporting competitions and programs.

 

Men's basketball imageBasketball is played on Thursday night with up to 16 teams competiting for the title.  Join in the fun by joining a team or get your mates together and enter a new team.

 

 

Netball is played twice a week with two women's comps on Monday night and Wednesday morning (creche available on Wednesday).  Enter or join a team and have fun with games played on full size courts with certified refs. 

 

lifeball imageLifeball is a fun team game played at a walking pace by any age group.  It is similar to netball and basketball and incorporates activities such as walking, passing and throwing to encourage physical movement and teamwork.  Lifeball is a thinking game designed for skill, fun and fitness.

Come and join the fun every Friday at 9am, and enjoy a cuppa as well.
