Business

Business is about being a good steward.  It is about doing everything with integrity, accountability and honour.  It is about being professional and personal when working with others.  It is about being a part of the whole of The Salvation Army. The ministry of business is about bringing order out of chaos, keeping us earthed and in the real world.  It is bills paid, money saved, and knowing who does what and when.

The Salvation Army Tweed Heads is a rather unique place.  Not only is church held here, but we are also a Sports Centre,  a Cafe and a Conference Centre. We also run our own Family Store (Op Shop) down in Kingscliff.  Many groups, other than ourselves, use our facilities.  So to ensure the smooth running of the place and to ensure we are good stewards of all God has entrusted us with a Business Team is vital.  The team meets once a week to discuss everything from Volunteers, staff, bookings, sporting comps, property matters, OH&S , finances and more.  The Team consists of:

  Richard Hardaker (Finances//Family Store)
  Kaye Hampel (Volunteer Coordinator)
  Ken Stratton (Property)
  Michelle Walker (Coffee Shop)
  Deborah Robinson (Employees/Hirage/OH&S)

New events will be added soon.
