Church

The first worship service of the Salvation Amy Tweed Centre was held in March 1992 in the auditorium of Tweed High School. This was a unique service in that the majority of people who attended came after being contacted through a phone survey.  Since that time the church has grown into a vibrant and exciting congregation that reaches out into the local community in many ways.

Apart from it's contemporary and relevant Sunday worship service, the church has many activities and programs that help people reach their God given potential Spiritually, Emotionally and Physically.

Services are held every Sunday at 10am and a youth service at 6pm.

Ministers:  Alwyn & Deborah Robinson

Alwyn & Deborah, along with their three children (Bethany, Kieran & Hannah) took over the leadership of the church in January 2007.  Previously, Alwyn & Deborah were leaders of Salvation Army churches in Berkeley (NSW) and in Maroochydore (QLD).

Alwyn & Deborah have a meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ and as a result experience life to the full.  They are passionate about leading others to experience the same.
