We are a Service with Christian ethics that provides support for people with an intellectual disability to live ordinary, meaningful lives. The Salvation Army has a long history of helping people with an intellectual disability in Brisbane. We are committed to supporting people to live in their own homes and gain respect in their community. SAILSS is a non government organisation receiving government funding, working within the Qld Disability Services Act and the Qld Disability Service Standards. SAILSS believes that each person should feel safe, secure and be free from abuse or neglect. SAILSS values honesty, transparency, authenticity, humility and are open to feedback.
