It is our very soul.With just over one year operating as a department and a team of 7, the International Development Offi ce –most commonly referred to as SAID – continues to grow and thrive; and the more we do so with the supportof donors like you, the bigger the impact we can carry to developing communities across the globe.It is with great excitement that we present to you our fi rst newsletter, an overview of the projects supportedduring the past financial year.

It was an amazing year for International Development. Your contributions went to projects in Brazil, China,Ghana, Kenya, India, Malawi, Mozambique, ThePhilipines, Papua New Guinea, Tanzania and Zambia,as well as all the other countries where we have childand centre sponsorship.
During the last financial year you donated $156,660 through our Gifts that Keep on Giving catalogue and$162,383 directly to projects.We also received $1’050.000 funding from AusAid for development projects, $900,000 of those going to Papua New Guinea.
Together we supported water projects in communitiesand schools of Kenya, anti-human traffi cking projects inIndia and Bangladesh, agricultural and environmentalprojects in China and rehabilitation projects inGhana -among many others-. We also reached 2,375sponsorships, combining individual children and centres.
We consider it a privilege to be able to serve and plant a seed in those lives and the many more to come!
