About Salvos Radio

People change. As host and producer of Light and Life, I know how much I have been changing since 2007, thanks to God's mercy, and how much I want to continue to grow. My life was out of control, but not on drugs or alcohol, for me it was foolish choices that were destructive. Sadly we can't go back and change them, but everyone has a story. If you'd like to share a struggle you overcame or are in the process of overcoming, we'd love to share it with others to encourage them on our program Light and Life.

Light and Life is a magazine style radio program heard across Australia, and South East Asia. Click on Light and Life in the left hand column on this page for library of shows, and for the most current segment, click on one of the four bubbles above. To hear someone's story click on Talkback Matters.

Internet Radio Thanks to Simon Smith from Hunter Valley Digital Radio and Big Rig Radio, we are currently building a 24/7 internet radio station to compliment what is out there in the market already.

Salvos Internet Radio is designed to give hope, especially to people in isolated areas of rural australia and beyond. Pam Wilkes Salvos Territorial Consultant for the rural chaplain program breathed a sigh of relief when she heard we were doing this, and said 'now our rural chaplains who visit the people doing it tough, will be able to tell them about the new salvos internet station'. We pray it will give them strength to go on.

Salvos Internet Radio wants to team up with the amazing Christian stations around australia, to be there for those who are broken and marginalised, those who need hope and a Saviour, to build them up, give them hope and point them to The One.

Jesus loves you no matter who you are or what you've done, and He can turn your life around, like He is doing with me.

"If you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" Romans 10:9

Blessings. Chris
