Our Corps Officers

Majors Edwin and Daphne Cox were commissioned as Officers in The Salvation Army in January 1992.

They have served as Corps Officers (Ministers) at Hornsby, Lismore and Dulwich Hill, and in Administrative Appointments at both Divisional and Territorial Headquarters - Major Edwin as Divisional Business and Finance Secretary and Territorial Property Secretary - Major Daphne as Divisional Secretary for Womens' Ministries and Territorial Assistant Secretary for Personnel.

Prior to becoming Salvation Army Officers, Major Edwin was a Bank Manager and Major Daphne a Credit Officer.

Their family consists of Darren (son), his wife Esther, and children Ellie, Zac and Lucy, and Justin (son) and his wife Carol. Both Darren and Justin are well known in The Salvation Army for their service at various youth camps. Darren, Esther, Justin and Carol are all qualified school teachers
