Businesses who serve food that is ready to eat, potentially hazardous and not sold and served in its package must have at least one trained food safety supervisor. Those businesses only have until1 October 2011 to have a trained food safety supervisor on site.
How do you become qualified
To become a Food Safety Supervisor, you need to successfully complete 2 units
(SITXOHS002A Follow workplace hygiene procedures and SITXFSA001A Implement food safety procedures)
from the hospitality training package.
Once you have done this, you will be awarded a Statement of Attainment from Booth College listing the above units along with a Food Safety Supervisor certificate from the NSW Food Authority.'
This course has been designed to be delivered online and commencement of the training will be negotiated with you by our trainer.
To apply for this course you will need to complete the student enrolment form, the Training and Learning Agreement and payment form.
Cost: $199 plus $30, Authority Food Safety Supervisor Certificate Fee.
