Pathways Program
Pathways Program is a workplace preparation course that combines life skills, personal development, social activities and accredited work readiness training. Participants graduate from Pathways with a certificate of completion and a real job offered by business partners such as Woolworths, Australand and Mirvac. Oasis Employment Coaches provide support for 6 months following the job placement to ensure a successful transition into working life. Participants must be stable in their accommodation, legal matters and drug and alcohol issues to take part in this course.
Champions
Champions is a corporate engagement leadership program between Virgin Unite and Oasis, aiming to equip, educate and encourage formerly homeless young people to become passionate articulate advocates of youth homelessness.
Drivin’ 4 Employment
Drivin’ 4 Employment is a new driver training program run in partnership with City of Sydney that provides disadvantaged young people with the opportunity to get their drivers licence. The program also runs monthly road safety courses in partnership with NRMA, NSW Police Force, NSW Ambulance and Armstrong Legal.
Property Plus Group - PPG
PPG is a social enterprise run by Oasis that places young people into a professional maintenance team - providing cleaning, gardening, painting and handyperson services. Participants get into the routine of work and become ‘job ready’ for the first time. PPG currently holds a small number of Government and private contracts and all profits come back to Oasis.
