Chaplains’ Outreach
Oasis Chaplains run a coffee service and street patrols in the inner city area, making contact with young people living on the street. Chaplains build relationships and provide information for counselling, alcohol/ drug rehabilitation, legal assistance and accommodation. Chaplains also connect with young people in distress at hospitals, police stations and courts.
StreetConnect Bus
The StreetConnect Bus features laptop computers, wireless broadband connection and mobile phone access. Homeless young people are able to use this technology to search for accommodation and other support services, send and receive emails and at times reconnect with family and friends.
Intake Office
The Intake office is the first point of contact for young people coming to Oasis for care or refuge. Young people can also pick up their mail, make phone calls to family and/or arrange other support services.
Drop-in Centre
The Oasis drop in centre provides services to young people under the age of 25 years who are having difficulty attaining and sustaining adequate and secure accommodation. Services include; breakfast, shower and laundry facilities from 8:30am – 10:30am Monday to Thursday.
