Each year, Cosmopolitan magazine celebrates inspirational women in the 'Fun, Fearless, Female Women of the Year' awards. The awards aim to recognise young women who have made outstanding contributions to the community in a range of categories, including the 'role model' category for which on of the Oasis staff has been nominated!
Kristie, 34, runs the Young Parents Program at Oasis. Kristie supports a number of homeless and disadvantaged young mums and dads with all aspects of their parenting and personal lives. Kristie's program not only teaches essential parenting skills, but also provides young parents with a group of friends to turn to for advice and support.
