Volunteer

Oasis is committed to ensuring we provide a positive experience for all our dedicated volunteers. 

In order for us to do this we look for passionate, skilled and committed people and match them to specific volunteering opportunities.

At present we are restructuring our volunteer course to include an online component. We hope to have this up and running shortly but in the meantime we are desperately seeking volunteers for the following opportunity –

Drive for Life Program

 Drive for Life is a new driving program run by The Salvation Army in partnership with SKODA and Carsguide.com.au. Drive for life is committed to teaching disadvantaged young people the skills necessary to drive safely, responsibly and defensively in a caring and respectful environment.

Once our young people have become confident on the road, we need volunteers to provide one on one driving support, supervising them as they gain 120 hours worth of driving experience.

All volunteers are provided with training and support prior to being assigned a young person.

This opportunity is open to individuals who hold a full drivers licence and can guarantee a minimum of two hours worth of driving support a week.
