The Oasis has opened their Homeless Short Film Competition, and with brilliant prizes for your school and yourselves up for grabs, the time to start filming is now!

Don’t forget to read over the curriculum resources, which give some brilliant guidance to learning about the homelessness theme. You can download these booklets here.
What do I need to do?
Get your school teacher involved, along with your school friends, and make a short (up to three minutes) film around the theme of homelessness.
What can I use to make my short film?
You can use your camera, photo montage, stop motion or your mobile phone. Get creative!
What style can my short film be?
The film can be a documentary, drama, animation, photo montage, or a combination of these.
I'm excited! How do I enter?
First of all, read over the Terms and Conditions here. Get your school teacher on board and complete your entry form online here, as well as the T&C here, then scan and email to the competition. Upload your video to YouTube, and then email your URL to the competition.
How much does it cost to enter?
Entering the competition is FREE! So what’s stoping you?! Go grab that camera!
When does the competition close?
The competition will close at 5pm on Friday 16th September.
