Growing up, I always believed in God and Christianity but I never knew how to make a commitment. I did things that weren’t very Christian and I’m ashamed of my actions but I know that God loves me and I love him.
One day my friend Nina Tisdell and I were talking about it and she asked me to come to her church youth group. It was so fun and I had a blast. I met great people who will be friends for life.
Then one night I stayed at her house so I could go to church for the first time. I had so much fun and it opened my eyes to a lot of things I never knew about myself, the people in the world around me and God. I now go to church every week and I’m still learning new things that are continually changing my life.
