At Gospel Arts Camp this year, God really worked in my life through both me and other people. I was sitting in the room with a guy I had made friends with and we started to talk about the Bible and Christ in our lives. We began talking about our favorite verses and what we thought God was saying to us through Scripture. We quickly started talking about more verses and what they meant. I felt God’s power and his Holy Spirit flooding our minds and fuelling this discussion. God enlightened us through one another.

During those moments I felt I gained a better understanding of the Bible that I had never experienced before and this was through sharing with a fellow Christian guy my age. I genuinely felt the Holy Spirit in my heart on that day. This is a perfect example of what God says in the Bible when two or more are gathered in his name, God will be there.

This set up the rest of my week up and since that night at the beginning of camp, God has continually made his presence clear to me during worship and prayer. I believe it was part of God’s plan to help me find Christ again. I would like to say I have a feeling that this is the beginning of something big in my life. My friend and I have made plans to contact each other once a week and share how we are walking in our faith. I encourage others out there to share the Bible with other Christians and develop friendships which you can utilize to help develop a stronger relationship with God.
