Hands Abroad in Malawi

Brisbane's Rachel Summersby is also preparing to head oversees with a Salvo mission team - to Malawi! Read what her local paper has to say!

20-YEAR-OLD Glenore Grove resident Rachel Summersby is looking forward to leaving soon for the African country of Malawi as part of a Salvation Army's Hands Abroad project.

Miss Summersby said when she became aware of the Army's mission to third-world countries such as Malawi she joined a group of like-minded young people.

“And now I can't wait to get there,” she said.
