World record bell ringer

A Salvation Army captain from Spokane USA has broken the world record by ringing his bell outside Walmart for 36 hours straight to raise money for The Salvation Army's Christmas Appeal.
Captain Smith didn't sit or eat for the entire 36 hours, but he did get bathroom breaks. And FYI the average minimum temperature in Spokane during December is -6 degrees! What a trooper!

Kudos for the effort and the funds raised but that's got to be annoying...it would be like having the home ice-cream van stalled outside your house.
