red shield appeal after party

5th May 2010 by Jarrod Newton

So hopefully you've already invited all your friends to come collecting with you for the Red Shield Doorknock! (And if you haven't, head on over to Facebook now and start spreading the word!)

But what about afterwards?

Straight after the doorknock seems like an awesome opportunity to do some relationship-building with your local community. This year at Ryde, we're going to invite highschoolers (who help collect) to come back for a pizza night that evening. It's a simple little way to say thanks and to get to know the youth in our community a little better.

Your own after party could be just inviting 10 people back to your place, or it could be targeting an entire highschool. But if you're keen to do something, now is the time to get cracking!

Happy planning =)
