OP58 is an opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of others and is something we can do together.
You may have heard that the PIGS are coming? Well now, the PIGS are here and you can join OP58 sth qld and take one home. That's the easy part.
The part that takes prayer and sacrifice is the fasting. What are you willing to go without in order to fill your pig? What are you not willing to go without but God is calling you to do so? That is between you and God.
The deal is that you covenant to fast from something each term [in our case - inbetween each FUEL event] and you put the money you would usually spend on whatever it is in your piggy. Then at each FUEL, there is a celebration time to all empty our pigs. If you are not at FUEL there will be other ways to do this.
So, where does the money go? We are partnering with BE A HERO who works in countries all over the globe and we are excited to be working alongside them. For the remainder of 2010 all money raised from OP58 will go towards completing an orphanege in Cambodia. After that, we are invited to dream and seek God for projects that he is leading us to. BE A HERO will assit us in making our dreams a reality. Check out www.beaheroaustralia.org
If you can't get to FUEL, you can bank your PIGGIE money direct into the OP58 account. Here's how to do so.
