What would you put on a t-shirt?

15th October 2009 by Jarrod Newton

Hey guys!

So our MORE T-Shirts have pretty much sold out! Which is exciting and sad at the same time. Sad because they're all gone, but exciting because we can look at doing something new!

We'd love to get some new shirts done up, but this time rather than featuring the MORE logo, we'd love to feature something fresh that is going to help people engage with the mission of The Salvation Army. And we'd love to hear your ideas on what that 'something' could be!

Potential 'somethings' could include:

  • A Bible verse
  • A quote
  • An inspiring phrase or saying
  • Something completely of your own creation!

If you've got any ideas then leave a comment below! And who knows, you could be wearing it on a T-Shirt next year.

Looking forward to hearing your responses!

Cheers

Jarrod

  1. Or how about some old-school song words? They could go a treat. (No, we're not putting "God of Concrete, God of Steel" on a T-Shirt. Shame on you for even thinking it.)

  2. just thought maybe Luke 12:49 - "I have come to set the world on fire and i wish it were already burning" mite work alrite...

  3. Breaking down some Bible Verses to make people think about them from a different angle is a tried and true . (If you don't want to do it yourself, use the Message Translation.)

    Um.. like...

    "Raise the roof." Psalm 95:1

    "Ready to rumble?" Psalm 144:1

    or...

"Eat this!" Matthew 4:4 (with a picture of a Bible)

    Or something.

  4. how about ''same mission, same goals, NEW GENERATION''
    or
''will you join god?(on the front) ''i did'' (on the back)

  5. "Homeless, Poor, Hated, Killed.......To be like Jesus this hope possesses me"

  6. put my face on the shirt, and underneath write

how can we be 'MORE' like Jake?

  7. how about

"anything the salvos do, hillsong does better"

bahahahah thats gotta be a fave lol

  8. A rad guy called Will once said

The Lord shall have all of me

    And like Mel's...
And there came forth two she bears from the wood. 2 Kings 2:24
