Looking for something to do these school holidays? Here's our own version of 20 to 1...
# 20. Girls: It's called a "sleepover"! Grab your Pjs, Nail polish, pillows, popcorn and hold a high school musical marathon
Guys: It's called an "all nighter"! Gaming, Pizza, red bull and no sleep, maybe some sports thrown in. Go easy on the Red Bull.
#19. Go for a bush walk. Watch out for snakes
#18. Go for a bike ride. Don't forget your helmet.
#17. Mow your lawn or if you're feeling generous offer to do your next door neighbour's lawn.
#16. Find a friend with a canoe or kayak and go for a paddle or be like ‘huckleberry Finn (written by Mark Twain) and build your own raft.
#15. Have a BBQ at your place inviting your friends and play theatre sports. Check out www.thedramateacher.com, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theatresports,
#14. Take up scrapbooking/website design
#13. Take up a self defence class or join the gym
#12. um... Read the Bible - It's a great read! It's got romance, action, poetry, history...Girls - check out the story of Esther; Guys - check out the stories of David.
#11. Build a Go-cart with friends, find a hill and race.
#10. Keen to make some money? Offer to wash people's car's. With the latest dust storms to hit the country our cars need a good clean. 5 bucks is a good starting price. You'll need buckets, car detergent, sponges, chamois and water.
#9. Go to Gospel Arts Camp or come along to the open day on Saturday 10th October.
#8. Grab some mates and hit the surf; don't forget to slip, slop, slap and swim between the flags.
#7. Instead of cow tipping this season, try dry patty fights. Make sure you wear old clothes and have a good wash after.
#6. Go visit your Gran and Gramps. Take some flowers and chocolates. You are bound to get some chocolate back if you stay long enough.
#5. Hang out with your youth leader. They get lonely sometimes.
#4. Organise a kids fun day at your corps
#3. Go to the movies or hold your own movie marathon!!
#2. Study? Or not...
#1. Chill, relax, veg out, chillax, sleep in, do nothing, stay up late, sleep in again.
Just some ideas... if you have something else share it below for others to do as well.
Stay safe - have fun - Enjoy Life!!!
