Snowman

SnowmanWorks Best:

Can be played up-front with audience watching or in teams with the whole group playing. (I prefer it as a team activity, as it can be quite time consuming).

What You Need:

  • Large garbage bags (one per team)
  • Shaving foam (about 2 cans per team, though the more the better)
  • Safety goggles (one per team)
  • Box of snowman acessories for each snowman (ie. hat, scarf, carrot etc)

The Game:

The challenge is to create the ultimate snowman. Each team chooses one member to be the foundation of their snowman. That person wears a garbage bag over their clothes so as not to get them covered in foam, and a pair of safety goggles. Team members use shaving foam to cover them in 'snow' and decorate their snowman with old hats, shoes, mittens etc. You may want them to hold a carrot nose in their mouth etc. Each team has a set amount of time to build their snowman. The team that makes the best looking snowman wins.

Other Notes:

  • Lay a tarp down and have towels handy for clean up.
  • Have prizes for the winning team.
  • Shaving foam can be pretty stinky so your snowmen will want to clean up fairly soon after game. Have something ready as a filler for while they do this.
