The day before Monday

Got you attention? Well on Sunday I had the great opportunity to go to Bundaberg and visit my friends at the Corps there. I was really privilleged as I had seen them on Saturday at the Ignite conference in Brisbane.

One of the most exciting things was to meet my new friend DJ! He is a great guy who has only been a Christian for 1 week. He is really passionate and keen to share his excitment with others.

I was really encouraged as I saw my young people in a place they would not choose to be, but with the challenges they are experiencing in life, they have really stepped up, and stepped out.

They are making a huge difference in the lives of so many young people in their Corps, and God is going to do aundantly more through them.

I was speaking with DJ and we old him of the great time we have at Youth Councils and invited him to come along. Well he got back to me on Monday and told me that work had said that he could not have the time off to go. "No way!!! We'll pray about!!!" I said

Well the next day, I got another text. "I got the time off, I got fired!"

Well doesn't Satan know how to attack and get you down.

We are praying for DJ to get a job that really suits him and that he enjoys.

Please take a minute to pray as well for my new brother in Christ, DJ.

Put on the Full Armour of God so that you can withstand the firery darts of Satan!
