What's this all about?

10th February 2009

Bring bring!!! goes the Alarm.

Well, another day is upon us and all the things that involves.

While I have a shower, I reflect on the events of the day ahead, and the day sometimes does not feel as exciting.

If I was going to ask you, How have you been? Would your answer include - 'busy' or 'flat out' or 'run off my feet'.

I tend to wonder what is this all about???

Has God designed my life and purpose, to be always busy even if you are doing good things?

But ...What about if it is for God???...

I have heard it put in a better way. Rather than using the word 'Busy', use the word 'Productive'.

I know there are have been times when it comes to the end of the day, and I wonder what on earth I have accomplished. Well maybe that is cause I was too busy. But if my focus is not on being busy, rather productive, than maybe our energies will be used where they are needed, so there is productivity for the day.

Another reason why 'Busy' is bad cause it is a distration of self, of mind and of Spirit. Satan wants us to be "Busy'!

He wants us to be distracted and pre-occupied, so that out attention is not focussed on God. Even when we do squeeze God into the end of the day, is that time REALLY productive. Are we stopping to Listen??? Or does stopping make our tiredness catch up to us, and so then we are distracted.

I know this lesson is not just for others, but as I write, I reflect on my own challenges.

Let's not to use the term 'Busy', but change our focus and become 'Productive' in every area of our lives.

Keep seeking after God...
