The Burdekin Skate park is now under water & would be a great area for a surf ski... Anyone wanna join me?

Another great story is when i was at the south road closure from ayr, i went to see if the salvo's were needed to help out in anyway when i had to do a U turn in our bus. As there wasnt much room, i had to go onto the grass... As much as this shouldn't be told, i think i should for all those who need a laugh!!! ..... As the buss started to get bogged due to the rain pooling on the grass, i put my foot firmly on the pedal & the bus started to spin the wheels. As i kept going so we didnt slide back down, there was mud, grass & water flying from the rear of the SALVATION ARMY Bus. The people who were watching i think were amazed that the salvo bus could do such a thing. I'm not going to tell the next part how it went side ways as i had to get back onto the Hwy... so i guess you can guess the rest!

However all is good. the bus got cleaned on the way home as i had to drive through some deep water over the road & no one even knows... Maybe the TC should give it ago!?!?
