The Salvation Army may be able to assist with food, utilities (electricity and gas), telephone (landline), clothing, furniture, and some other financial needs (please note that cash cannot be provided).

Welfare interviews are usually conducted Wednesdays and Fridays between 9:15am and 12.00pm. It is essential that you make an appointment the day before. Leave your message, including your name, telephone number and what assistance you require, and your call will be returned on Tuesday (for appointments on Wednesday) or Thursday (for appointments on Friday).

You will need to bring a current income statement (e.g. Centrelink statement, pay slip), evidence of payments made from current income, and current accounts for which you require assistance, e.g. electricity.
