ALPHA Course

Have you ever wondered, "Is there more to life?" or "What am I doing here?"

The Salvation Army - Hills is running the ALPHA Course throughout February and March 2012, as a part of the Sunday morning Worship Services. ALPHA is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life in a relaxed, friendly setting. Each session, you can enjoy great food, laughter and learning in a fun and friendly atmosphere where no question about life or God is too simple or too hostile…questions like - Is there a God? Why am I here? Where did I come from? Where am I going?

We invite you to continue to join us on Sunday mornings as we move through the ALPHA course. The sessions start at 9.30am with a late breakfast, foilowed by the talk and then group discussions. You are more than welcome to join us.

The sessions are as follows:

  • 29th January: Who is Jesus?
  • 5th February: Why did Jesus die?
  • 12th February: How can we have faith/how can I be sure of my faith?
  • 19th February: Why & how should I pray?
  • 26th February: Why & how should I read the bible?
  • 2nd - 4th March: HOLY SPIRIT WEEKEND – Who is the Holy Spirit? What does the Holy Spirit do? How can I be filled with the Spirit? How can I make the most of the rest of my life?
  • 11th March: How can I resist evil?
  • 18th March: How does God guide us?
  • 25th March: Why & how should I tell others?
