They say good things come in threes, so there's no way you should miss our third ever Youth Ministry Conference!

Join us and a whole mob of other sold out youth leaders for a huge weekend of incredible training, teaching, worship and inspiration, with just the right amount of chillax time to make sure you leave refreshed rather than ruined!

You may be employed, volunteer, committed, interested, curious or terrified - but what you definitely are is welcome!

The Voice - Youth Councils

This June youth from the Sydney East & Illawarra Division and The Greater West Division of the Salvation Army Australia Eastern Territory are going to come together for fun, worship and inspiration.

Gathering together at 7:30pm on Saturday 23rd of June at the newly renovated Salvation Army at Wollongong we will sleep over and then get into worship and the word of God on Sunday morning from 10am, followed by Lunch (there are plenty of places nearby to buy food), Electives at 12:30 (more details to come) and final worship together at 1:30pm.

Mini Muzos

Mini Muzos

Mini Muzos is a playgroup for children aged 0-5 years old. It incorporates movement and music with craft and play. Parents/caregivers are present at all times and are encouraged to interact with the children. Bookings are essential. Prices are: $3 per child or $5 for a family!

Mini Muzos takes place in 'The Cottage', Jasper Road Public School, 1 Jasper Road, Baulkham Hills. It takes place every Thursday from 10am till 11am.

Self Denial 2012

The Self Denial Appeal is an annual internal appeal of The Salvation Army. It is a time for people to give to The Salvation Army to help out in countries that are less fortunate than ours. From Sunday 26th March, we will watch a video every week in the worship service. These videos show you how people are living in other countries. This year the focus is on Nepal, Phillipines, Congo and Suriname. The Self Denial Appeal ends this year on Sunday 1st April with a Alter Service, a time for people to give.

Self Denial - Alter Service

The theme for this year’s appeal is “Self Denial Stories”, based on the words of Mark 9: 35, “And he said to them, ‘if anyone would be first, he must be last of all and servant of all’.”

The Alter Service will be held on Sunday 4th April during our regular Sunday Worship Service. If you are new to the Salvation Army, and you would like to know more about the Seld Denial, please get in contact with our Corps Officers. They would be more than happy to help you out.

Card Making Afternoon

Come along and enjoy an afternoon of card making with The Salvation Army - Hills. For $25 per person you will be taught how to make 2-3 sets of cards with different themes (eg. children's cards, female cards, generic cards).

Joanna Wassen will be joining us. She is from Stampin' Up and comes with years of experience in card making. www.joannawassens.com
