Faith
Our deepest desire is to be like Jesus. To live like him, speak like him, journey with him and serve others like he did.
Like Jesus, we don't give up on people. We see ourselves as builders of long-term relationships – as members of inclusive communities that embrace others, believing that God's wholeness is for everybody.
We believe we have been saved to serve others. We are Christian agents of change with a particular, Jesus-like heart for those who are most disadvantaged and marginalised.
We desire to live as genuine disciples – risky, on-the-edge people for Jesus. We’re prepared to stand for different values and priorities than the society norm. We want to be visible and connected in our communities, not for our sake, but so that those in need know they have someone to turn to.
We recognise our need to be inclusive of all generations, and want to raise up young people to lead a new expression of our mission.
Our community is diverse, and we embrace all those who choose to support our mission regardless of their personal faith journey. But if you want to explore faith or if you’re keen to find out more about Jesus then you’re most welcome to join us on that journey as well!
