Genah Barnes - Intern 2009

Kia Ora! I'm Genah, I'm 19 years old and I'm from New Zealand. I did STUMP in April and now I'm doing the Edify Internship. I've been here for about 4 months now.

I'm really passionate about the last the lost and the least and since I've just come here I think things have changed a lot in my life. I see that the fruit in my life that God has grown the most is love. I just see how God is teaching me to love so many different people.

One of my favourite moments from being here at Edify was when I was sitting at a table and there were all these people around me, some suffering from mental illness, some from homelessness and all sorts of different things and I just remember thinking, this is the table Jesus sat at.
