Our Mission

At Edify our mission is:

"To train, equip and empower all people (especially the next generation) to engage in a lifestyle of mission for the long haul."

We aim to accomplish this by fostering personal growth in individuals, connecting them with the poor and marginalised and participating in the rebuilding, restoring and renewal of broken lives and communities.

In Luke 4:17-19 Jesus quotes from the prophet Isaiah and proclaims that Jubilee, the year of the Lord’s favour, has come.

We believe that Jesus ushered in the Kingdom of God and it is now our task to partner with Him in bringing His Kingdom in all its fullness.
 
We do this by intentionally coming alongside disadvantaged communities and providing opportunities for people to (as Jesus modelled) become flesh and move into the neighbourhood, and dwell among them for mutual growth and transformation.
