Loganlea Community Centre

Footsteps

Footsteps playgroup is held at the Loganlea Community Centre on Thursday mornings during school terms from 10.00am - 12.00am. It is open to mums, dads, grandparents and caregivers to get together each week with their babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers for interaction and fun. Children are given the opportunity to learn and play in an engaging environment and parents/caregivers can meet with other locals. Quest speakers are invited to present to the group according to group interests, i.e. a local police visit to talk to the children about road safety. Morning tea, coffee and tea are also provided.

Warm Phones

Warm phones are a direct phone line to the Family Support Office at Centrelink. They are located in a private space, and allow parents to contact Centrelink without using all of their mobile phone credit when they are placed on hold.

E-Kiosks

The E-Kiosks are touch-screen information points that parents can use to access information regarding services and resources available in their local community. They are located at each of the Designated Family Centres.

A suite of programs are currently being developed and will be rolled out at Loganlea Community Centre in 2010.
